Sharing & Permissions

Control who can view and edit your pages, projects, and workspace.

Cobloc gives you fine-grained control over who can access your content. Share at the workspace, project, or individual page level — each with its own member list and role assignments.

Roles

Owner
Full control. Can manage members, change settings, delete the workspace/project/page, and edit all content.
Editor
Can create, edit, and delete pages and blocks. Can invite others. Cannot manage workspace settings or delete the workspace.
Viewer
Read-only access. Can view all content but cannot make any changes.

Inviting members

Click the Share button on any page, project, or workspace. Enter an email address and select a role. The invitee receives an email with a link to join.

Control what happens when someone opens your share link:

  • Restricted — only explicitly invited members can access
  • Anyone with link (Editor) — anyone with the link can edit
  • Anyone with link (Viewer) — anyone with the link can view

Copy the shareable link from the share dialog and send it to your collaborators.

Permission hierarchy

Permissions cascade from workspace to project to page. A workspace editor has edit access to all projects and pages in the workspace. A project editor has edit access to all pages in the project. Page-level permissions let you share a single page without granting broader access.

Guest access lets people outside your workspace view or edit specific pages via a share link, without needing a full workspace membership.
