Workspaces

Create and manage workspaces for different teams or areas of work.

A workspace is your top-level container in Cobloc. Everything — pages, projects, members, tags, and settings — lives inside a workspace. Most people use one workspace per team or area of life.

Creating a workspace

Your first workspace is created automatically when you sign up. To create additional workspaces, click the workspace name in the sidebar to open the dropdown, then select Create workspace. Each workspace has its own name and emoji icon.

Switching workspaces

Click the workspace name at the top of the sidebar to see all your workspaces. Click any workspace to switch to it. Your last-used workspace is remembered and loaded automatically when you open Cobloc.

Workspace settings

Open workspace settings from the sidebar menu. Here you can:

  • Change the workspace name and icon
  • Set a landing page — the page that opens by default
  • Manage tags — create, edit colors, and delete workspace-level tags
  • Manage members — invite people, change roles, remove access
  • Delete the workspace (danger zone)

Landing page

Set any page as your workspace's landing page. When workspace members open Cobloc, they'll land on this page by default instead of the workspace home. Useful for team dashboards or project overviews.

Each workspace is fully independent. Members, pages, projects, and tags are not shared between workspaces.
