Todos

Todo blocks are interactive checklists for tracking tasks directly on your canvas. Add items, check them off, mention teammates, and see progress at a glance.

Adding items

Click the input field at the bottom of a todo block and type your task. Press Enter to add the item to the list. Items appear with a checkbox that you can click to mark as complete.

Completing items

Click the checkbox next to any item to toggle its completion status. Completed items get a visual strikethrough. The progress bar at the top updates in real time, showing how many items you've finished.

Editing & deleting

Click on any existing item's text to edit it inline. To delete an item, hover over it and click the delete icon that appears on the right side.

Custom titles

Each todo block has an editable title at the top. Click it to rename — use it to describe the category or purpose of the checklist, like "Launch Tasks" or "Shopping List".

@Mentions in todos

Type @ in a todo item to mention a workspace member. They'll receive a notification with the todo context. This is useful for assigning tasks to specific people.

Real-time collaboration

Todo blocks support live collaboration. When another user is typing a new item, you'll see their name and draft text appear above the input field in real time. Changes sync instantly across all connected clients.

Progress tracking

The progress indicator at the top of each todo block shows the completion count (e.g., "3/8 completed"). When pinned to the sidebar shortcuts, the progress is also visible there — giving you an at-a-glance view of task completion across your workspace.
